Senior IT Asset Engineer

As a Senior IT Asset Engineer, you will be responsible for providing services to employees with IT issues and requests involving end-user IT equipment. You will maintain accurate, clear, and concise records of all IT equipment using ITAM technology and manage client systems and hardware life cycles.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
• 7+ years of experience providing enterprise level end user support
• ITIL and ITSM certification
• Solid understanding of ServiceNow asset management
• Strong understanding of ITIL Service Asset and Configuration Management (SACM) best practices
• Hands on experience with Windows and Mac Laptops provisioning and troubleshooting
• Strong knowledge of Endpoints (Laptops and Handheld devices) product lifecycles
• Experience evaluating new products to select the devices with the best cost and performance efficiency
• Proven experience in IT asset management, inventory management, or IT operations
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Experience with contract and vendor management
• Knowledge of IT security principles related to asset management
