The ServiceNow Discovery Lead will develop and maintain Discovery probes and patterns, troubleshoot discovery issues, manage MID servers, and collaborate with IT teams. This role focuses on ensuring accurate data and efficient processes in ServiceNow CMDB implementations and enhancements.
Requirements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and document business needs.
- Configure, manage, and optimize ServiceNow Discovery probes, credentials, and patterns.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
- Plan and manage the capacity and performance of ServiceNow MID servers.
- Establish and maintain discovery schedules.
- Work closely with network engineers, application owners, and other IT teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve discovery issues.
- Create and maintain documentation.
