Lightspeed is looking for a Tier 2 IT Support Specialist to join their IT support team. The role requires in-depth technical knowledge and the ability to handle a wide range of computer challenges.

Requirements

  • Take charge of integration and departure processes, as well as the management and recovery of IT equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of hardware and software inventory (reserve, A/V, monitors, etc.).
  • Ensure that workstations and conference rooms meet standards, are functional, and well-organized.
  • Collaborate with colleagues at levels 1 and 3 to diagnose and resolve main IT issues.
  • Support IT teams in basic configurations, initiatives, involvement in projects, or monitoring, according to guidelines (as per IDPs).
  • Provide technical support to users, management, and staff.
  • Raise awareness among users about good IT practices and provide necessary technical training.
  • Ensure strict compliance with SOX requirements.
  • Participate in routine IT maintenance tasks.
  • Manage user access requests.
  • Maintain knowledge of requirements and responsibilities related to IT compliance.
  • Collaborate with other teams, within or outside of IT, on various projects and issues.
  • Update and maintain the organization's IT knowledge base.
  • Train level 1 technicians on new technologies and procedures.
  • Work closely with the IT-Ops team to support the office.
