Sr DBA Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team supporting a strategic client engagement focused on logical/application database management.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on database administration experience in enterprise environments
• Expert-level knowledge in either SQL Server OR Oracle with strong working knowledge of the other platform
• Strong understanding of database design principles, normalization, and data modeling concepts
• Experience with database performance monitoring, testing tools, and optimization methodologies
• Knowledge of backup and recovery strategies, high availability, and disaster recovery concepts
• Understanding of virtual database provisioning and table space management
• Experience with data purging, archiving, and data lifecycle management
• Strong understanding of OLTP and OLAP workloads and optimization strategies
• Experience with ETL processes, data integration, and cross-application data flows
• Knowledge of stored procedures, functions, triggers, and database programming
• Understanding of application release cycles and database change management
• Experience with data migration, conversion, normalization, and synchronization projects
• Ability to support application upgrades and maintain current versioning support
• Experience with database testing methodologies and quality assurance processes
• Knowledge of data warehouse processes and individual file processing
• Understanding of logical database path optimization and data partitioning strategies
