ServiceNow is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to build high-quality, scalable, and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes. The successful candidate will work with product owners to understand detailed requirements, design software that is simple to use, and contribute to the design and implementation of new products and features.

Requirements

  • Strong experience developing custom applications on the ServiceNow platform
  • Solid proficiency with JavaScript and working knowledge of Python
  • A systems-oriented mindset with hands-on experience in Linux OS environments
  • Understanding of data structures, system design, and performance considerations in enterprise software environments
  • Familiarity with UI Builder or other low-code/no-code tooling within ServiceNow
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to design and implement scalable, maintainable solutions
  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes
