Application Support Engineer - Location: Columbus, OH (Local Candidates Only)

We are seeking a skilled Application Support Engineer to join our team in Columbus, OH. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in J2EE platforms, operating systems, and scripting. This role will require hands-on troubleshooting, deployment support, and monitoring in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Requirements

• Strong experience with J2EE platforms and supporting enterprise applications.
• Proficiency with Linux, Unix, and Windows environments.
• Experience with JBoss or similar application servers.
• Solid troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Shell, and Python.
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog).
• Experience in code deployment processes and post-deployment automation.
• Understanding of cloud platforms and containers (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.
