AbbVie's Finance Shared Services (FSS) organization is seeking an Automation Expert to streamline manual processes, drive business process re-engineering, and implement cutting-edge automation solutions across the organization. The role will focus on leveraging process mining tools, advanced automation technologies, and AI-driven approaches to optimize workflows, enhance compliance, and support efficient business operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in business process automation, process mining, or workflow optimization roles
  • Hands-on experience with process mining & design tools: Celonis, Microsoft Visio
  • Proficient in automation platforms: ServiceNow, Microsoft Power Automate, SmartSheet
  • Solid understanding of Finance Processes
  • Knowledgeable in AI-driven automation concepts/platforms (e.g., AVA), RPA, and process improvement frameworks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to business challenges
  • Demonstrated ability to document, design, and deliver process automation solutions in a finance or shared services environment
  • Effective communicator able to train and support users on new automation technologies
  • Innovative thinker with a passion for process optimization and technology
  • Ability to manage simultaneous automation projects and prioritize effectively
  • Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with experience working across business, IT, and compliance teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated, quick learner, adaptable to change and new automation tools
