We are looking for an AWS Cloud Engineer to join our Cloud Centre of Excellence (CCoE) team. The role will involve planning, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure and AWS Native services, with a specialisation in AWS technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for migration planning, infrastructure deployment, security and compliance, optimization and automation, monitoring and troubleshooting, and collaboration with the CCoE team.

Requirements

  • Detailed technical understanding of the AWS cloud platform
  • Technical understanding of other cloud platform providers
  • Excellent experience with Microsoft AWS, including design, deployment, configuration, and optimization
  • Experience with IaaS and PaaS solutions
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and database management in a cloud environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira and ServiceNow
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field
