We are seeking an AWS System Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience using automation tools and a good knowledge of cloud computing platforms, preferably AWS. The role involves ensuring all systems are monitored and alerts are handled appropriately, as well as maintaining server, storage, network, and security infrastructure through infrastructure as code.

Requirements

  • Prior experience using automation tools (Terraform, Cloud Formation, Ansible, Foreman, Chef, Salt, Puppet)
  • Good knowledge of the various services and capabilities of cloud computing platforms; Ideally AWS
  • Experience maintaining build system, source code management; e.g. TeamCity / GitLab etc
  • Knowledge of IP networking, DNS, and firewalling
  • Experience with Python, shell scripts and command-line tools
  • Knowledge of containerization and related orchestration technologies
  • Demonstrable experience of remediation projects, ideally within a PCI-DSS certified environment.
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills and natural willingness to collaborate across teams and organizations.
  • Naturally able & productive with ITSM tools such as Jira, ServiceNow etc.

Requirements Summary

5-8 years of experience in cloud computing, automation tools, and ITSM tools. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
