JCS Solutions LLC is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Support Specialist to design, develop, implement, and integrate information assurance architecture, system, or system components for use within data center, network, and enclave environments.
Requirements
- Designs, develops, implements, and integrates information assurance architecture, system, or system components for use within data center, network, and enclave environments
- Ensures that the architecture and design of information systems are functional and secure
- Supports policy development and implementation; security engineering, security architecture; certification and accreditation processes and activities; continuity of operations planning, testing and maintenance; security testing and analysis
- Provides secure solutions to complex security issues
- Upgrades system by implementing and maintaining security controls
- Participates on security and related working groups as required and at various levels
- Develops and presents security solutions and recommendations to senior management for sites, systems and networks
- Keeps users informed by preparing performance reports; communicating system status
- Hands-on experience providing technology leadership for IT Security projects
- Subject matter expertise administering both BigFix and Tenable security tools is a MUST
- Experience with new and emerging cybersecurity technologies including, but not limited to: hands-on tool usage of Splunk, Tripwire, Cylance, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, etc.
- Expert level of experience with Microsoft products Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio
- Strong oral (speak fluent English) and written skills and experience interacting with and presenting to senior leaders, contract officers etc. within an organization
- Strong skills in the following key areas including strategic thinking, multi-tasking, negotiation, conflict management, time management, planning and executing to a defined schedule/budget
- Experience with data analytics and combining data sets from multiple sources to provide reports for identifying risk and measuring security posture
- Knowledge of vulnerability information dissemination sources (e.g., alerts, advisories, errata, and bulletins)
- Experience with incident response and handling methodologies
- Knowledge of current industry methods for evaluating, implementing, and disseminating information technology (IT) security assessment, monitoring, detection, and remediation tools and procedures utilizing standards-based concepts and capabilities
- Experience using a helpdesk ticketing system such as ServiceNow
- Federal government IT Security experience is preferred
