The Edge Network Engineer is responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise network infrastructure. Duties include monitoring network performance, troubleshooting complex issues, and supporting planned upgrades and ongoing operational needs.

Requirements

• Install, configure, maintain, and manage network infrastructure
• Monitor, test, troubleshoot, and resolve complex network problems
• Assist in planning and designing LAN/WAN network architecture
• Execute network deployments, upgrades, and support change management efforts
• Participate in ticket resolution and reporting using ServiceNow or Remedy
• Provide tier 2 support for widespread network events and incidents
• Proactively identify network issues and implement solutions
• Evaluate and recommend new and emerging networking technologies
• Ensure networks meet or exceed security requirements and industry best practices
• Create and maintain Visio diagrams and other documentation for existing and new network components
• Support remote IT staff, operations teams, and business partners with network-related issues
• Maintain knowledge of routing protocols, network monitoring tools, and automation solutions
