CloudOps Engineer

Protera Technologies is seeking a CloudOps Engineer to ensure the smooth, secure, and efficient operation of their cloud environments. The role involves managing infrastructure, automating workflows, and collaborating with global clients to modernize their operations with cloud-first solutions. Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in CloudOps, Infrastructure, or DevOps engineering
• Proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure automation
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar)
• Deep knowledge of Linux administration and Windows systems
• Understanding of change management frameworks and ITSM tools like ServiceNow
• Administrative experience with major cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)
• Understanding of Virtual Server backup and restore methodologies within GCP, AWS, Azure
• Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration
• Scripting proficiency in Bash, PowerShell, or Python
• Strong troubleshooting skills across networking, security, and system performance
• Bonus skills: Automation with Ansible (or Puppet, Chef)
• Cloud certifications (GCP Associate Cloud Engineer, AWS SysOps Administrator, Azure Administrator Associate)
• Experience with endpoint security or vulnerability management tools (e.g., Tanium, EDR)
• Background working on servers with SAP applications
• Any background working on servers with SAP applications
