CMDB / Monitoring Engineer L3 – Medellín, Colombia

This is an in-person Engineering/Monitoring position for a CMDB / Monitoring Engineer L3 in Medellín, Colombia. The role involves integrating Moogsoft and other tools, automating workflows, and managing incident management, with a focus on AWS and cloud monitoring technologies. Candidates should possess strong Linux skills and a solid understanding of system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

Requirements

• Experience as a Check_MK monitoring tool administrator
• Solid knowledge in Moogsoft for incident management as an administrator
• Proven capability to integrate Moogsoft with other tools such as Check_MK, Solution Manager, ELK, Solarwinds and ServiceNow to seamless operations
• Ability to configure Webhooks and rules in Moogsoft to automate workflows and improve alert management
• AWS certification or practical experience with AWS technologies, particularly CloudWatch and cloud monitoring
• At least 3 years of experience in AWS Public Cloud, with solid understanding of infrastructure and cloud services
• At least 5 years of experience in Monitoring and Linux, with proficiency in system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
• Experience in the development and implementation of standards, policies and procedures for the management of systems and infrastructure
• Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and system improvements
• Experience working with offshore outsourcing organizations, remote teams or international collaboration
• Availability to work in rotating shifts to provide 24/7 support
• Ability to support resources L1 and L2
