The New York City Police Department is seeking a permanent Computer Associate (Software) III to manage software systems, IP Management, service requests, and security updates. This role involves designing, implementing, maintaining, and analyzing software, and working collaboratively with community partners to improve law enforcement.
Requirements
- Design, implementation, maintenance, and analysis of software systems.
- Lead engineer on projects like e-DISCOVERY, e-mail data collection, and VMware virtual machine build application.
- Manage NYPD IP Management, service and change requests, and SCCM.
- Engage in implementations, administration, remediation, and project upgrades.
- Manage ServiceNow tracking system.
Requirements Summary
Bachelor's degree in CS or related field, or 4-year HS diploma + 1-2 yrs software experience. Alternatively, 60 semester credits are equivalent to 1 year of experience
