The NYPD is seeking a Computer Associate (Software) III to design, implement, and maintain software systems for various projects. The selected candidate will lead engineer on projects such as e-DISCOVERY and VMware virtual machine build application, and manage NYPD IP Management, ServiceNow, and SCCM. The role requires experience in computer systems development and analysis, applications programming, and database administration.

Requirements

  • Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college with 24 semester credits in computer science or a related field
  • One year of satisfactory full-time computer software experience in computer systems development and analysis, applications programming, database administration, maintenance and support, systems programming, data communications, mainframe development, mobile development, web development and design
  • Satisfactory full-time computer software experience equivalent to the above, with additional education or certifications
