The CMDB/Discovery Analyst III will be a core member of the team, focusing on ServiceNow discovery, event management, and CMDB data integrity. This role involves data collection, process recommendations, CMDB governance, and automation. Collaboration with other teams is key to establishing relationships and data standards. The analyst will also track, document, and resolve issues related to CMDB health and conflicts between data sources.
Requirements
- Perform operational activities following Configuration Management policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with process and application owners to document mapping requirements.
- Collect and report on metrics.
- Create and implement a process to obtain and document key prerequisites.
- Monitor CMDB health and resolve conflicts between data sources.
- Interpret Discovery logs and data to diagnose issues.
- Act as a supplemental resource to the ITSM team on projects.
- Ensure discovery applications are functioning correctly.
Requirements Summary
2-3 yrs in CMDB/Discovery experience. ServiceNow CMDB skills. Cloud/ITIL V3/V4 certification is a plus
