ServiceNow is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Software Action Team (SWAT) and support Federal and Public Sector customers. The role involves database infrastructure maintenance, troubleshooting, automation development, and ensuring reliable and scalable platform performance. This is a critical role for supporting key customer applications and a dynamic, real-world environment.
Requirements
- Experience with Production Databases
- Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, and Analyzing Query Execution Plans
- In-depth knowledge of Performance and Stress Testing Tools
- Experience with large-scale web-based applications
- Concurrency and multithreading experience
- Linux platform expertise (RHEL preferred)
- Troubleshooting skills
- Analytical skills
- Eagerness to learn ServiceNow platform
- 4+ years of experience supporting production databases
- 4+ years of experience with performance and stress testing for Postgres/MySQL/MariaDB
- Experience with profiling tools and tracing
- AWS/SaaS/PaaS Cloud Infrastructure support
- AWS Cloud Infrastructure familiarity
