We are looking for a DevOps / Automation Engineer to join our team and help shape E.ON's future in a green and sustainable energy world. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining automation workflows, as well as collaborating with multiple teams to deliver sustainable technology solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting and Microsoft Graph API for automation and integration
  • Hands-on experience with Azure automation services (Functions, Logic Apps, Runbooks)
  • Solid understanding of configuration-as-code, GitOps, and version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred; Azure DevOps or similar platforms also welcome with willingness to adapt)
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow integration for workflow automation and as an entry point for operational requests
  • Experience in automating workflows related to Intune, Entra ID, or other enterprise management platforms
  • Familiarity with event-driven automation, REST APIs, and JSON
  • Ability to proactively analyze existing processes and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements
  • Experience in defining and operationalizing OKRs and KPIs to measure service reliability, compliance, and automation maturity
  • Experience or strong interest in applying AI/ML techniques to automate processes, optimize workflows, or generate operational insights in enterprise environments
  • Good collaboration and communication skills to work effectively across multiple teams
