GovCIO is hiring a DevSecOps (Java) Developer to support the USPS Logistics Tech Services Group. The position involves leading a development team, developing solutions architecture, and ensuring delivered solutions meet technical and functional requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's with 5 - 8 years of software programming experience
- 7+ years' experience in designing large and complex IT operations in large organizations
- Experience with Azure, GCP or AWS enterprise implementations
- Knowledge of business process re-engineering principles and processes
- Strong understanding of network architecture and application development methodologies
- Strong understanding of SOA, object-oriented analysis and design, and/or client/server systems
- Knowledge with the following qualifications: DevSecOps, Secure Coding practices, and the Solutions Development Framework (Docker, Jenkins, GitLab)
- Expertise with Cloud Architecture (Azure, AWS) and Design and Development
- Knowledge of business process re-engineering principles and processes
- Strong understanding of network architecture and application development methodologies
- Experience developing multithreading apps, performance tuning, and debugging

- Clearance Required: Ability to maintain a USPS Public Trust clearance
