Director, Engineering

Join Royal Caribbean Group as a Director of Engineering and define the strategy and lead implementation of technology integration of business-critical systems. Work in-person in Miramar, Florida and manage multi-million-dollar integration portfolios, drive cross-functional engineering execution, and lead teams of internal engineers and vendor partners to deliver high-quality, on-time, and resilient integration solutions.

• Develop and own the product strategy for the cruise reservation system's integrations
• Act as the key liaison with the third-party system provider
• Produce roadmaps, define strategy, and solutions to complex integration problems
• Maintain product vision and roadmap
• Communicate decisions, priorities, and relevant project information
• Champion the implementation of Gen AI and agentic AI tools
• Work closely with business stakeholders, product team, external tech partners, and operations teams
• Identify opportunities to innovate, extend, and enhance service delivery
• Provide guidance and direction in resolution of escalated application or system problems
• Create and maintain system documentation for solution design, domain technologies
• Improve existing processes through solutions to recurring problems and enhancements to existing solutions or documentation
