Director of AI Systems

Klaviyo is seeking a Director of AI Systems to build an internal AI transformation, establish a formal CoE, and drive operational leverage through AI. The role focuses on embedding AI capabilities across global operations, focusing on AIOps, generative AI for productivity, and hyperautomation. This is a pioneering role seeking to democratize AI capabilities and fundamentally enhance Klaviyo’s operations.

Requirements

• 10+ years of cumulative experience in technology with 4+ years in data platforms, emerging technology, or intelligent automation.
• Demonstrated experience building a technology function from the ground up in a corporate environment.
• Hands-on experience architecting and implementing AI/ML platforms or automation tools.
• Strong understanding of data governance, security, and the ethical considerations of using AI.
