We are seeking an Engineer, DevOps - Kafka/ADF to build and manage ETL/ELT pipelines, deploy and manage Confluent Kafka, and design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Services, Azure API Management, GraphQL, and Redis, as well as proficiency in scripting and automation with Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field preferred, or combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in IT or cloud-based DevOps environments
  • Experience in the design and operation of medium to large scale enterprise infrastructure, databases, and application systems requiring 24x7x365 uptime
  • Competence in a wide range of IT skills including networking, systems administration, data protection, information security, & CI/CD tooling
  • Demonstrated growth mindset, enthusiastic learner, ability to teach and mentor teammates and cross functional partners
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen attention to detail
  • Experience working within an Agile framework
  • IaaC development with Terraform, Azure CLI, Puppet, and Ansible
  • Scripting experience with Perl, Python, and PowerShell
  • Proficient with GIT to perform source code management
  • Experience with Terraform Cloud and Azure DevOps
  • Experience with Jira and ServiceNow
