Engineering & Operations Lead

Peraton is seeking a lead cloud engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be working 100% remote and will focus on cloud operations and engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 12 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 10 years of experience
• Five (5) years of experience in cloud technologies including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or other public cloud services with an emphasis on AWS experience
• Experience in writing and deploying Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Cloud Formation, Terraform, CDK) to provision cloud infrastructure
• Two (2) years of experience with Python or similar cloud scripting language
• Experience with provisioning of cloud infrastructure resources and operational support of provisioned resources, as both an engineer and a team lead
• Experience with Jira, ServiceNow, and similar toolsets for workflow management
• Experience with SolarWinds, Splunk, and similar tools for logging and monitoring
• One (1) cloud certification preferred at the associate level or higher in AWS
• Experience with a breadth of cloud infrastructure resources
• AWS/Cloud networking experience

• Target Salary Range: $112,000 - $179,000
