This Engineering Program Manager role focuses on maintaining relationships between the Law Enforcement business team and IS&T engineering resources, managing and facilitating project submissions, and ensuring projects are completed on time and according to specifications. The role involves driving adoption of new technologies and resolving production issues of software products. The role requires coordination of requirements, UAT, and user onboarding.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with HTML, XML, JavaScript
  • 5+ years experience writing business requirements for a variety of solutions
  • Knowledge of task management solutions (ServiceNow, JIRA, Wrike, etc.)
  • Awareness of multiple API technologies (JSON, ProtoBuf, REST, RPC, XML, etc.)
  • Proficiency in software development life cycles and reporting tools such as Business Objects and Tableau
  • MS or BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Science or a related field or equivalent practical experience in Software Engineering
  • Clear and concise communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to forge trusting relationships and work globally
  • Previous experience managing outsourced contractors
