Sidley Austin is seeking an experienced IT Operations Senior Analyst with expertise in Major Incident Management (MIM) and enterprise operations. This role focuses on outage and incident response leadership within a 24x7 IT Operations Center, requiring oversight of proactive monitoring, governance, and operational improvements in hybrid on-premises and cloud environments. The analyst will also handle communication with both internal teams and global stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5 years of IT operations or NOC/ITOC experience
  • 5+ years of proven leadership in Major Incident Management (bridge call facilitation, executive communications, service restoration)
  • Advanced expertise with infrastructure monitoring suites (Splunk, Datadog, ThousandEyes, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, SolarWinds)
  • 5+ years of hands-on technical knowledge across Windows, Linux, VMware, and Cisco networking
  • Proficiency with ServiceNow or equivalent ITSM platforms
  • ITIL Foundation Certification
  • Strong scripting capabilities (Python, PowerShell, VBScript)
  • Exceptional communication skills
