GAMA-1 Technologies

GAMA-1 Technologies is seeking an experienced IT Security Specialist III to strengthen security program efficiency, effectiveness, and consistency for High and Moderate systems under the Risk Management Framework (RMF). This role involves planning, implementing, upgrading, and monitoring security measures, responding to security incidents, and ensuring the protection of networks and information assets. The specialist will collaborate with program managers and development teams to embed security throughout the system lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 4-8 years of experience in IT security with at least 3 years supporting federal government systems.
• Proficiency in IT security policies, NIST guidelines, and proficiency in industry-standard IT security tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
