Abacus Technology is seeking a full-time Help Desk Technician to provide technical support to U.S. military personnel in Saudi Arabia. The role involves assisting end-users with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network connectivity issues. The position requires strong communication and customer service skills, as well as familiarity with Microsoft Windows, SharePoint, and troubleshooting various types of computer hardware.
Requirements
- 2-3 years’ IT experience in a help desk or technical support role.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- CompTIA Security+ CE (DoD 8570 IAT Level II) certification.
- Solid customer service skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Windows OS, MS Office Professional, and browser configuration.
- 2-3 years supporting various software applications and printers.
- Familiarity with trouble ticket systems (ServiceNow, ITSM Remedy or similar).
- Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, WINS, and DNS.
- Basic knowledge of VTC setup and configuration.
- US Citizenship with an active Secret clearance
