Information Security Analyst

Abacus Technology Corporation is seeking an Information Security Analyst to support and maintain a Host-Based Security System (HBSS). The role involves implementing security patches, troubleshooting, resolving issues, analyzing vulnerability scans, and ensuring compliance with information assurance policies. The analyst will work with Windows, Microsoft technologies, and utilize PowerShell to manage software deployments and create custom scripts for a secure operating environment.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in information security
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Security+ CE certification
• Strong knowledge of Windows Desktop Operating Systems (Windows 10/11)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
• General knowledge of HBSS, ACAS, and ARAD
• Knowledge of PowerShell and custom script writing
• Experience with Remedy or ServiceNow
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Teams
• Working knowledge of hardware and network/server configurations
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
