INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY OPERATIONS SPECIALIST - (TECHNICAL MANAGER III)

The State of Illinois Department of Transportation is seeking a Technical Manager III (Information Technology Operations Specialist) to support the Bureau of Information Processing and other related staff. This role involves day-to-day operational duties supporting IT issues, network environments, and IT equipment management, as well as assisting with policy and administrative tasks. The position also involves liaison work with IDOT and DoIT staff and utilizing the ServiceNow system.

Requirements

• Completion of a bachelor’s degree majoring in computer science or information technology, OR completion of two years of college plus two years of experience working with network operating systems, end-user computer support, IT troubleshooting, or a combination thereof, OR six years of experience working with network operating systems, end-user computer support, IT troubleshooting, or a combination thereof.
• Valid driver’s license.
