Infrastructure Engineer Senior

USAA is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer Senior to identify and manage risks associated with business activities, design scalable IT system infrastructure, and lead analysis of end-to-end system failures. The role involves mentoring engineers, experimenting with new patterns and technologies, and developing software defined infrastructure in code. The position requires 6 years of progressive experience in job offered or related occupation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering or related field
• 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in a related occupation
• Building, installing, upgrading, and migration of IBM DB2 and UDB databases
• HADR, TSA, and Pacemaker cluster configuration
• Linux operating system with shell scripting
• Ansible for automation and orchestration in Linux and UDB platform
• Automation tools Gitlab, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Ansible and CloudFormation
• Configuring database backup and archiving logs with TSM, networker and Data protector
• Handling incident calls to resolve database issues and performing root cause analysis
• Performing data center migration and documenting plans and procedures
• Analyzing logs via Elastic search & Splunk
• ServiceNow
