This is an important IT position for a full-time, permanent position at a Latin American-based company that requires a L3 Support Java professional. The role involves working with Java/j2ee technologies, working with several server stacks including Tomcat, Jbosss, and WebSphere, and scripting/shell scripting.

Requirements

  • Advanced Java/j2ee experience (Rest api, servlet, JavaScript/html, jsp, jdbc, struts, Hibernate, Spring)
  • Advanced experience with multi-server and Tier environments (Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere, Weblogic).
  • Advanced experience with databases (DB2, Oracle, Sybase).
  • Mid-to-Advanced Unix and scripting (shell/perl).
  • Good experience in Job scheduler monitoring tools (Autosys, procmon, crontab).
  • Advanced experience in IDE’s like Eclipse, NetBeans.
  • Mid – to Advanced experience on using Git, Jenkins and other repo/deployable
  • Good experience in Support model (L2+/L3)
  • Good exposure to production tooling (jira, ServiceNow).
  • Good experience in making code changes in production and running end-to-end steps as per SDLC
  • ADVANCED conversational English
