Lead Observability Engineer

NCS Australia is seeking a highly skilled Observability Engineer to join their IT Operations team. The role involves architecting and deploying observability frameworks across diverse environments, integrating Dynatrace, and developing Elastic pipelines for full-stack monitoring. The ideal candidate will contribute to improving system health, enhancing observability, and driving operational excellence through data analysis and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Proven experience with Dynatrace in enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of Elastic architecture and instrumentation.
• Familiarity with network/storage observability tools (e.g., SNMP, NetFlow, Splunk).
• Deep knowledge of APM concepts: tracing, metrics, logs.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid infrastructure.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools and DevOps methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
