Link Solutions is seeking a Linux System Administrator (Senior-Level) to join our team at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. As a senior-level Linux administrator, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and security of enterprise workstations and servers in compliance with DoD and ARL IT policies.
Requirements
- Install, configure, and manage RHEL systems and Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization environments.
- Administer KVM virtualization, Puppet automation, and kernel-level tuning.
- Implement system patching, STIG compliance, and release/version control.
- Monitor performance, handle incident response, and ensure uptime and data integrity.
- Automate tasks using shell scripting, Ansible, or equivalent configuration management tools.
- Maintain backup and recovery solutions and ensure disaster recovery readiness.
- Conduct system audits and enforce DoD security requirements.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive configuration documentation.
