LogicMonitor Engineer

Windward Consulting is at the forefront of Service-Centric IT. We are looking for a high caliber, multidimensional LogicMonitor Engineer to provide resident engineering support for a federal government customer.

Requirements

• LogicMonitor Certified Associate (LMCA)
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure
• 5+ years supporting modern server operating systems (Linux/Windows)
• Strong knowledge of application and system software monitoring principles and practices
• Experience with LogicMonitor, specifically: Proficiency in LM Envision, Experience with LogicModules, Alert tuning best practices, Using LogicMonitor REST API for automation and integration, Building and customizing dashboards, Log analysis using LM Logs, Group structure design for monitored resources
• Experience with ServiceNow integration and automation workflows
• Understanding of infrastructure monitoring principles and distributed environments
• Ability to analyze and understand complex technical systems and web application architectures
• Familiarity with software version control systems
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain credibility as a monitoring expert
