The Mainframe Senior Support Engineer is responsible for delivering operational services to outsourcing accounts on time, on target with quality. The main goal is to minimize the amount of unplanned downtime in the customer's production environment and to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Expertise in one of the following disciplines: z/OS Mainframes (LPAR concept, SYSPLEX concept), SMP/E, Databases: Adabas, DB2, DBA or IDMS, Storage management software and hardware - DASD and tape management, Catalogs, VSAM, DFSMS, MiddleWare: IMS, CICS, MQ, Mainframe Network
  • Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Management Information Systems
  • 10+ years' experience within IT Operations, infrastructure services support, Minimum of 5+ years' hands-on technical knowledge of the technology platform, Fluent in English language
