Manager - Safety and Security Headquarters Lead

Twilio is seeking a Manager - Safety and Security Headquarters Lead to strengthen the foundation and overall security posture of Twilio's Physical Security program. The role involves overseeing and managing all aspects of safety and security operations for Twilio's headquarters location, including developing and implementing security strategies, managing security processes, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with safety and security policies and regulations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in the physical security discipline
• In-depth knowledge of security protocols, risk assessment methodologies, and risk management strategies
• Experience developing physical security plans and measures for corporate events
• Experience conceptualizing and executing on numerous initiatives and balancing competing priorities
• Awareness of health, safety, and emergency evacuation protocols and requirements, specifically within California
• High ethical standards with proven ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information; excellent judgment, discretion, and diplomacy
• A ‘customer-focused’ mindset with strong business acumen and strategic influence
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to effectively partner with a diverse team and cross-functional departments to find common ground and viable solutions to complex problems in a highly collaborative environment
• Capacity to make critical decisions in high-pressure situations
• Proven crisis management experience and ability to lead during critical incidents
• Demonstrated discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality when handling sensitive information and high-profile individuals
