The Manager Data Center (MDC) is responsible for the management and performance of a data center site(s) and ensures the site(s) function(s) at the optimum performance and reliability. The MDC is accountable for all local maintenance, repairs, upgrades and expansion activities and customer services activities within the sites.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working in mission-critical mechanical & electrical environments, ideally within IT/Telecom or similar.
  • Very strong experience managing a team of direct and indirect reports.
  • Proven experience in technical facilities management and maintenance governance.
  • Familiarity with data center infrastructure and industry standards.
  • Experience with maintenance management systems (Excel-based or corporate bespoke).
  • ITIL and/or ServiceNow experience is advantageous.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).
