Manager, Software Engineering (Platform Services)

NBCUniversal is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead a team focused on building and maintaining internal development platforms. Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or platform engineering
• 3+ years of experience managing engineering teams
• Hands-on experience with Terraform Enterprise, GitHub Enterprise, Nexus, and SonarQube
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipeline design
• Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow (SNOW), AutoNow, or Jira Service Management
• Experience managing metrics dashboards using Amazon QuickSight or similar BI tools
• Experience managing observability platforms such as Splunk and Datadog
• Familiarity with platform governance practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable giving and receiving feedback in a constructive environment
