Link Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Networking Administrator (Intermediate-Level) to join our team at Adelphi, MD. The position requires an understanding of enterprise network architecture, Layer 2/3 switching, routing protocols, and network security standards. The ideal candidate will have a BA/BS degree in a related field, 5+ years of relevant experience, and IAT Level II Certification equivalent or higher.
Requirements

- Must have an active DoD Top Secret Clearance
- Must have a BA/BS Degree or an AA in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Five (5+) years of relevant experience working in an IT enterprise network engineering field
- IAT Level II Certification equivalent or higher per DoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, etc.)
- Must have CompTIA Network+ or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or equivalent
- Proven leadership in managing complex network environments, including DoD networks
- Advanced knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), security standards (802.1X, 802.11, MAC bridging), and media access control systems
- Demonstrated experience in network segmentation, traffic management, and secure network architecture design
- In-depth knowledge of network tools, monitoring platforms, and documentation best practices
- Ability to plan and implement large-scale network configurations and upgrades while minimizing downtime
- Preferred: Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) v4 certification
- Experience with incident management within the ServiceNow Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) platform
- Familiarity with NIST, STIG, RMF, and Federal Information Systems Controls
- Working knowledge of hardware configuration management tools and logistics tracking systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Experience creating and modifying documentation for technical processes and procedures
- Experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment
- A problem solver and troubleshooter who thrives in resolving complex problems
- Strong self-starter requiring minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
