Operations Engineer

We're looking for an Operations Engineer to join our Tech Americas team in New York. As an Operations Engineer, you'll be responsible for monitoring, supporting, and running our in-house developed IPA service, and implementing and working with the latest tooling with a strong focus on performance, stability, and security.

Requirements

• Good knowledge on CI/CD and experience with Git, Python, Ansible, Shell scripting and working experience with JVM based applications
• Strong Linux (RedHat Enterprise Linux 7 or 8) skills.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or similar tools such as Jenkins
• Familiarity with Grafana and tools for alerting like Prometheus
• Good understanding of the ELK Stack and how to interact with it
• Familiarity with tools such as Confluence, ServiceNow, Checkmarx
• Experience or affinity with IT Risk & Security concepts
• IT Operations/Support experience, including Functional support to end users (such as Traders, Risk Managers, Collateral Managers but could be in another domain/field) combined with analytical skills to identify root causes in workflows incidents (data, technical, functional).
• Customer focus, with the mindset to find and resolve root causes of incidents to structurally improve the customer experience.
• Good team player, cross functional, enjoys interacting with people of all levels in a multicultural environment
