We are searching for a Platform Infrastructure Engineer to support future opportunities. The person in this role will install, configure, optimize, and validate scientific platforms and underlying on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and performance for biomedical research and laboratory automation.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- A minimum of TWO (2) years of platform engineering or systems integration experience; experience with cloud services and HPC environments preferred.
- Experience with laboratory automation and regulated change/configuration management.
- Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash, Ruby) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, zero trust architecture, and compliance frameworks (NIST, CIS, ISO 2700 Series).
- Experience with monitoring, ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Remedy), and infrastructure as code.
