Principal Research Scientist/Engineer

Join ServiceNow as a Principal Research Scientist/Engineer to lead the development of operational solutions for Large Language Models (LLMs) and empower the NOW platform with AI experiences. Contribute to the design, implementation, and operating LLMs at scale in a hybrid cloud environment. Collaborate with a team to deliver high-quality software and work closely with product owners to understand detailed requirements.

Requirements

• Prompt engineering and developing LLM based features
• Experience with methods of training and fine tuning large language models
• AI productivity tools such as Cursor, Windsurf, etc
• Leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving
• Solid Machine Learning knowledge and hands-on experience
• Experience with LLM's
• Experience with Search or Recommendation systems
• Creating and maintaining large-scale data processing pipelines
• Proficiency in infrastructure design and implementation
