We are looking for an experienced Principal ServiceNow Engineer (FedRAMP) with deep expertise in IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), Asset Management, and custom application development utilizing 3rd party API integrations. The candidate will play a critical role in developing and enhancing ServiceNow solutions that align with our enterprise service strategy.

Requirements

  • Design, develop, and implement solutions in ServiceNow focusing on ITSM, ITOM, and Custom Application modules
  • Customize workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI actions, and catalog items to meet business needs
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions
  • Develop and support integrations using REST, SOAP, and MID Servers
  • Configure and maintain Event Management integrations, and CMDB
  • Implement custom modules or enhancements for IT Asset Management (ITAM), Software Asset Management (SAM)
  • Ensure platform scalability, performance, and adherence to security/compliance standards, including FEDRAMP (where applicable)
  • Provide best practices guidance, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior developers
  • Support ServiceNow upgrades, patching, and instance cloning
  • Conduct Design / Code reviews and advice on best practice methodologies
  • Proactively identify system deficiencies in the ServiceNow platform and recommend solutions as a trusted advisor
  • Experienced in requirement gathering, eliciting, documenting and drive technical implementation for various business units
  • Implement and customize application modules within ServiceNow to meet business requirements
