We are enhancing our Service Management approach across CommBank's technology landscape by developing tools and implementing strategies aimed at strengthening Site Reliability, and ensuring we continue to lead in operational excellence. As Product Owner – ServiceNow CMDB, you will lead the strategy, development, and adoption of our Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within ServiceNow.
Requirements
- Strong experience in ServiceNow CMDB, including CI class structures, relationships, and reconciliation.
- Software engineering or development background, with knowledge of APIs, scripting (JavaScript, PowerShell, Python), and automation tools.
- Familiarity with ITSM, ITOM, and ITIL frameworks and how CMDB supports these functions.
- Understanding of discovery tools (ServiceNow Discovery, SCCM, SolarWinds, etc.) and how they integrate with CMDB.
- Experience in Agile methodologies, with the ability to manage backlogs, sprints, and stakeholder expectations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimise CMDB usability and automation.
