Product Security Engineer

Delinea is seeking a Product Security Engineer to play a key role in maintaining and maturing an industry-leading Product Security Program. The ideal candidate will be highly collaborative, working alongside Product Development and DevOps teams to ensure that vulnerabilities are remediated within SLAs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, similar related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional work experience in Cybersecurity with a minimum of 2 years in a Product Security role that includes Vulnerability Remediation, AppSec tooling (SAST, SCA, DAST, etc.)
• Familiar with current Product Security threat landscape and best practices.
• Experience in the following technologies: Integration of Security testing tools into development pipelines, Defect tracking (Jira, Bugzilla, ServiceNow, or similar), Source code management (ADO, GitLab, GitHub, or similar), Application security testing tools (SAST, DAST, IAST, SCA, or similar), Containers (Docker, Kubernetes, or similar), Strong analytical skills with the ability to prioritize, manage competing demands, and meet deadlines, Strong communications skills both verbal & written with the ability to describe technical security issues in plain language, Fluent in English (spoken and written)
