Deutsche Bank is seeking a Production Engineer to join its Bucharest Technology Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of production systems, as well as developing and maintaining automation tools and scripts. The role will also involve incident management, monitoring and alerting, capacity planning, performance optimization, collaboration, documentation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • IT experience
  • ITIL V3 Foundation certification
  • Service Management tools (e.g. ServiceNow, JIRA)
  • Service monitoring tools
  • GCP and monitoring tools (e.g. NewRelic)
  • SRE Model and execution/maintain deliveries within the SRE model
  • Microservices, Spring boot, Angular JS
  • Oracle, Unix Shell Scripting
  • Oracle Management, SQL scripts/PL SQL, performance mgmt.
  • Agile and Safe methodologies
  • Cloud Technology (Google Cloud)
  • Java, Python and Shell scripting
  • Messaging middleware (e.g. Solace, TIBCO or MQ using JMS)
  • Monitoring systems (e.g. ITRS Geneos, Splunk)
  • SQL and relational databases (e.g. Hive/Impala/Spark SQL and a traditional RDMS, such as Oracle)
  • Spark - Basic to intermediate
