IT Concepts dba Kentro is hiring a Project Manager to join the Zero Trust Leadership Cell supporting U.S. Special Operations Command on the EDAT innovation contract. The role is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the comprehensive quality and performance governance framework for USSOCOM's multi-year Zero Trust transformation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of ten (10+) years of related work experience in IT project management, quality assurance, or IT governance.
  • Experience managing schedules, KPIs, and compliance reporting for large-scale DoD IT programs.
  • Proven expertise in managing complex project schedules (IMS), identifying critical paths, and managing dependencies using tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.
  • Strong experience in developing and managing quality assurance frameworks (QASP) and performance metrics (KPIs).
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
  • High proficiency in project management and workflow tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project).
  • Strong understanding of IT governance frameworks, organizational process improvement concepts (e.g., CMMI), and service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
  • Knowledge of risk management processes and methods for assessing compliance.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable reports and dashboards.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to facilitate meetings effectively and prepare executive-level reports.
  • Familiarity with Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) principles and DoD cybersecurity policies is beneficial.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and support senior leadership effectively.
