Scientific Support Engineer Team Lead

Devis is seeking a highly experienced Scientific Support Engineer Team Lead to guide a team of engineers at NIH Building 35. This role focuses on running day-to-day scientific IT support, troubleshooting complex issues, and leading a team on Windows, macOS, and Linux systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of scientific workflows and lab tools, and be an expert in ITB's system management tools.

Requirements

• 6+ years of relevant experience, ideally with the NIH or another scientific organization
• BS/MS/PhD in Engineering, Applied Science, or another relevant field
• Proven experience leading a team of support engineers
• Ability to and experience with managing documentation of scientific support processes
• Subject matter expertise with Windows, macOS, and Linux enterprise computing, ITB's system management tools, and advanced technical support and troubleshooting
• Expertise with ServiceNow platform and associated tools
• Familiarity with virtualization platforms, networking hardware and software, and IT peripherals
