Senior Application Specialist - Automated Discovery in Configuration Management

As an Application Specialist for Automated Discovery in Configuration Management, you will be responsible for the operation and further development of discovery and CMDB solutions, collaborating with IT architects, system administrators, and service management teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
• Solid knowledge of datacentre and cloud system architecture
• Experience in administration of Windows and Linux systems
• Strong Python scripting skills, particularly in the context of automation
• Practical experience in data modelling within CMDB systems (e.g., OpenText uCMDB, ServiceNow CMDB, BMC Helix CMDB or similar)
• Analytical thinking and a structured, independent working style
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for delivering high-quality solutions.
• Team spirit, strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, and keen interest in new technologies
