Senior Cloud Engineer - Azure

As a Senior Cloud Engineer - Azure, you will be responsible for cloud lifecycle management planning, design, oversight, automation, and optimization. You will work with business and IT professionals, and with the Infrastructure, Applications, and Information Security teams, and with third-party vendors and contractors. You will focus heavily on the strategic and architectural design of cloud solutions with a focus and demonstrated experience in Azure, and with strength in writing Terraform for cloud automation.

Requirements

• BS and/or MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years’ experience in the following areas: Cloud Engineer – Azure required; AWS, GCP & OCI exposure.
• Demonstrated experience with SSO and Identity Federation services (Entra, B2B/B2C)
• ITIL environment of formal Change processes, Systems Development Lifecycle processes and of production of requirements documentation and evidence (ServiceNow experience a plus)
• 2+ years of Scripting with Terraform
• Cloud Engineer – Azure required; AWS, GCP & OCI preferred.
• Monitoring Tools such as Azure Operations Management Suite (OMS)
• Experience with network architectures
• Experience with Vulnerability Response/Remediation
• Scripting/Coding and automation using such tools as Terraform, PowerShell, Python, Ansible, etc.
• Experience in leading the delivery of assessments, development of business cases, and solution architecture.
• Experience with multi-phased, complex migration programs that address technology, people / organization, and process change.
• Strong written skills – able to create concise and structured recommendations for total solutions as well as simplifying systems architectures.
• Dynamic and engaging presentation style that commands respect, inspires confidence, earns trust, and makes the complex easy to understand.
• Strong business engagement and customer relationship management.
• Demonstrated proficiency with technical architecture, practical adaptation and implementation, functional deployment, and business ROI focused areas of enterprise infrastructure solutions.
• Financial fluency which includes working with ROI, cost analysis, and financial statements.
